Back in 1982, several developers planned and built the Brian Head Hotel at a
cost of $22,000,000. High interest rates and cost overruns put the project in financial
difficulty. In 1984, to releave the financial pressure, some of the rooms were sold as
condominiums to private owners. Some of those private owners have elected to make their
units available for nightly rental. These are the "Brian Head Suites" at the Cedar Breaks Lodge.
Meanwhile, the unsold units remained with the Brian Head Hotel and today operate as the Cedar
Breaks Lodge. Although the Suites and the Cedar Breaks Lodge are two distinct operations, when
you stay at The Suites, you enjoy all the facilities of the Cedar Breaks Lodge.
The Suites rooms offer you many amenity including separate sitting rooms and kitchenettes
in the Parlor Suites, full kitchens in the Master suites, gas fireplaces in selected rooms, and
spa tubs, sleeper couches, dinner settings, and cable television in all our rooms. We are a
non smoking operation. All rooms are privately owned, and each is decorated and furnished to the tastes
of the owner.
Whether you are visiting to ski the driest powder on earth, view the spectacular scenery of
the area national parks, take a mountain bike trip or just relax in the cool mountain air,
the Suites will provide a comfortable respite from your day.
